Black Amber:

Black amber is actually very very dark, almost black red. 

It’s been used as jewelry since the Stone Age, roughly 13,000 years ago. 

Black amber is believed to have healing properties, particularly in terms of alleviating anxiety, stress, and emotional burdens.

Testing for authentic amber:

Amber floats on water, which is a practical way to test amber and tell real amber from fake. It’s also triboelectric, meaning it will become electrically charged when rubbed vigorously, enabling it to pick up small pieces of paper depending on the size of the amber.

Tiger Eye:

This stone has been used since ancient times as a protective amulet, Roman soldiers wore it into battle believing it gave them strength. 

Egyptian pharaohs wore it as jewelry to increase their strength and vitality.
